SAIL CLUB
Come set sail with us and really experience the lake! They offer everything from kayaks and stand up paddle boards to elegant electrical Duffy boats. Complimentary pack and play cribs can be provided by request.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating. The thermostat on the wall in your room can easily be adjusted to suit your personal comfort — simply touch the on/off button to operate and wait for the touchpad to illuminate. You may choose heating or cooling by pressing the mode button and adjust to desired temperature by using the arrow buttons.

PLEASE NOTE: Balcony doors do need to be closed for the thermostat to turn on!

HIKING IN THE AREA

Daley Ranch
Daley Ranch is a 3,058 acre conservation area with 20 miles of multi-purpose trails for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use. The most popular trail, the Ranch House loop, passes two small ponds and the site of Daley’s original log cabin.

Double Peak Park
1.5 mile trek starting at Discover Lake and ending with panoramic views of San Diego. On clear days the vista includes Coronado, Catalina Island, and Tijuana, Mexico.

Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve
The Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve offers approximately 11 miles of hiking, mountain biking, equestrian trails, as well as picnic areas and scenic mountain viewing points. With names like Way Up Trail, hikers should be prepared for relatively steep elevation gain.

Leo Carillo Ranch
Leo Carrillo Ranch, also known as Rancho de Los Kiotes, is “Carlsbad’s Sleeping Beauty” – an historic rancho in Carlsbad, CA. A registered California Historical Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Proceed to the First People and Native Plants Interpretive Sign. Here, you’ll find a botanical walking tour guide. Numbered posts corresponding with some of the Ranch’s significant plants follow as you walk down Palm Lane.
